Genentech Hall Atrium and Auditorium, UCSF Mission Bay (600 16th Street, San Francisco, CA 94158)
Thank you for your interest in the Institute for Human Genetics (IHG) x Institute for Regeneration Medicine (IRM) Genotech Joint Symposium 2026. This symposium is designed to foster meaningful collaboration and exchange between industry and academia in the fields of genetics and genomics. Through a mix of formal presentations and informal interactions, we hope to create opportunities for conversations, connections, and future partnerships. The program will feature talks from industry leaders and faculty, panel discussions, and social events, with a focus on both basic science and translational research across genetics, AI, and genomics.
Registration is free, and we kindly ask that you register by September 7th to help us plan catering accordingly. Visitors who are not affiliated with UCSF can access the building via the intercom at the main East entrance and should be prepared to present a government-issued photo ID at the security desk. The reception desk will be located nearby, where all guests can pick up their name badges.
The symposium will begin promptly at 9:00 AM and conclude at 6:00 PM, with food and refreshments available throughout the day. The career panel at 12:20 PM will take the form of a roundtable discussion, led by Nick Page, Neuroscience PhD, who will open with a few guiding questions before inviting audience participation. This session is a great opportunity to learn more about diverse and impactful career paths in the biotech industry. Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch to Room GH-N114 on the first floor of the Genentech building to join the discussion.
We are grateful to our sponsors for their support—be sure to visit their booths in the atrium.
We look forward to seeing you there!
